The aim of this experiment/exhibition is to spark discussion on the significance of human creativity in music composition. This will be accomplished by contrasting music created by human composers with AI-generated music. The experiment seeks to investigate the distinction in the creative processes between human and AI composers. Additionally, it aims to establish a platform for amateurs, professionals, and music enthusiasts in the technology industry to listen to AI and human-generated music based on identical captions and provide feedback.
Regarding the collaborators of this exhibition, all composers are aware that their participation in the experiment is voluntary and they will not be compensated for their contributions. As for the AI resources, I am utilizing an unpaid and open platform for their implementation in the experiment.
A big thank you to Google’s MusicLM, an incredible model generating high-fidelity music from text descriptions!
To be continued.
